With offices around the world, Green & Gold was established in 2010 by Green Farms Nut Company and Suncoast Gold Macadamias who saw an opportunity to create a global macadamia marketing and sales company focused on driving demand of this premium nut.
Subsequently, a number of other significant macadamia producers joined Green & Gold as dedicated supply partners making us the leading macadamia supplier globally.
Green & Gold’s current network of nine dedicated macadamia processing facilities located across three continents in five countries, provides us with a consistent and reliable supply of quality nut throughout the year.
Our extensive geographical spread means we can manage the risk for our customers by avoiding seasonal variations and potential crop failures.
As a global business concerned with the natural environment, environmental sustainability and social responsibility is of utmost importance to us as well as nut quality and food safety. Our manufacturing facilities are regularly audited by independent authorities to ensure compliance and to guarantee food safety and consistency in product grade, quality and specifications. All processors are FSSC 22000 certified.
QueenNut prides itself on being the gold standard of macadamia quality and productivity. Located in São Paulo in Brazil, the company is supported by quality labour as well as the ideal climate and infrastructure for macadamia growing and processing. Founded in 1985, Queen Nut continues to produce quality macadamia nuts while investing in the development and technology of nut production in Brazil.
Located in the heart of the macadamia industry in Malawi, Thyolo Nut Company is a purpose-built, single-product macadamia factory specialising in kernel. Maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety, Thyolo Nut is the proud winner of the 2024 Malawi Exporter of the Year award and commended for its commitment to gender diversity with women making up 83% of the workforce.
Maclands macadamias are grown across three origins in Africa – Malawi, South Africa and Kenya – offering customers a reliable, consistent and continuous supply of the best quality product. Owning the entire process from seedling to packed nut at all three origins enables Maclands to ensure complete traceability, maintaining integrity, safety, and sustainable production of their macadamias.
With over 40 years of macadamia industry experience and a strong historical foundation, Green Farms Nut Company is the most established macadamia nut processing company in South Africa. Besides owning their own farms, the company has a dedicated supply from over 400 macadamia growers which is processed in their three state-of-the-art factories situated in three major provinces in South Africa.
